SLOVAK ABILITYSPORT YOUTH GAMES 2024

The Slovak Abilitysport Youth Games are organized by the Slovak Sports Association for the Disabled which is the national body of physically disabled sports in Slovakia a member of the Slovak Paralympic Committee and member of international sports organizations World Abilitysport, BISFed, IWBF, World ParaVolley.
The games introduce a new format of sporting event, providing young and novice athletes with a space for competition and healthy sports confrontation. In 2022 and 2023, the games took place at the national level with last year hosting nearly 100 participants across 7 sports. The hometown of the games is Dolný Kubín a city located in a beautiful natural environment with adequate sports infrastructure and strong organizational support.
The event dates are September 12-15, 2024 immediately following the end of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, offering an ideal opportunity to motivate young and novice athletes. The games are held with the knowledge and consent of the international organization World Abilitysport and realized as a project supported by the grant scheme of the Visegrad Fund.
